I had an amazing time at Gen Con. Then I got home. I was hit with exhaustion...and allergies. Ragweed is in full bloom. I feel like a caber hit me in the head. That's one of the reasons I decided to postpone this week's episode.
I'll be in Atlanta for DragonCon next Thursday. If you come to the convention, find me in the Marriott at the Brobdingnagian Bards' table. I'll have a free Irish & Celtic Music Podcast bumper sticker to give you.
I will also finish that End of Summer Celtic Jams that I promised you last week. That said, I did release a Patreon-exclusive episode featuring some songs. If you're a Patron of the Podcast, you can listen now.
Sooooo I made a big mistake about my Podcast Awards announcement last week. WE MADE THE FINAL CUT!!! Now, we just have to wait and see if we win. Voting ends on September 13th. But only the randomly selected 250 Listeners and 50 Podcasters plus the up to 50 luminaries selected by the Podcast Comittee are able to vote. So thank you once again for the nomination. Here's hoping we win!
And thank you for all your patience. I'll be back with more music soon. Slainte!
