Thank God It's #Celtic Thursday |
Greetings The Celtic music world grew last week. M second daughter, Inara, was born a week ago Monday. It's really weird saying "my second daughter", but it makes me smile every time I do. I am extremely blessed. Right now, Inara is wiggling in her bouncy chair. I think she is waking up. So I might not have much time to write this newsletter... Meantime, Gwen is catching up on some much needed sleep. I forgot how much time these wee bairns take. Gwen feeds her about every two hours. That leaves little time to do anything else. And yet, next week things get extra crazy. You can check out a few pictures on the podcast Facebook page, and my Instragram account. And in the shownotes for today's episode. This time next week, I will board an airplane and fly to Ireland for my Celtic Invasion of Donegal. Can you believe it? I can't. I still have a ton to do to get ready for the trip. I also want to make sure I keep YOU properly entertained with lots of great music while I'm gone. Thanks to my generous Patrons of the Podcast, I intend to finish the next two episodes of the show before I leave. Can I do it? I hope so! This week's show features more new music. So grab a drink, relax and enjoy. Thanks for being a part of the Celtic Music World! Slainte! PS. Will you do me a favor? Respond to this one question survey.

When we reach $250, I will donate 10% of the money to Celtic non-profits. At the end of 2013, I had donated over $20,000 to help our fellow Celts in their missions. We can do better than that. Plus, you'll get another great 2-hour show. OH! And I also added a $300 Milestone... Another 2 hour bagpipe music special. Become a Patron of the Podcast today!
CELTFATHER PODCAST ADDS A CELTIC MUSIC SPOTLIGHT When you subscribed to the Celtic Music Magazine, I told you about my Celtic Music Spotlight video series on YouTube. I had trouble keeping that show going. Video takes a lot more time than I have available right now. It's on a hiatus right now. In the meantime, I've been trying to find new ways to add reinvigorate my other podcast, The Celtfather podcast. The show was designed to give me a weekly, Monday morning outlet to talk about what's going on in my music world. But over the past few months, I've had trouble keeping up with the show and keeping it interesting and fun. So starting soon, I'm launching new features to The Celtfather. First, t I will add the Celtic Music Spotlight to each episode. You'll find out a wee bit more about some of the bands played in the Irish & Celtic Music Podcast with links to episodes where you can hear their music. The other thing I'm tentatively planning is a spotlight feature on Celtic places around the world. Basically, I want to share facts and information about all of the cool places out there so that I can inspire YOU to travel. Of course, it will all start next week when I had out on my Celtic Invasion Vacation. Once again, I will be podcasting throughout the trip. So if you'd like to "be a part of the invasion", then subscribe to my podcast at celtfather.com. If you wanna hear a sample of what you might expect, then check out last year's Celtic Invasion of Wales playlist on my website. NEW CELTIC CDS Sociable Breaking Trad Rolling On The Ne'er Duwels
