Happy Mother's Day from Irish & Celtic Music Podcast

Celtic Music Magazine

Greetings

I just got back from the beach with Kenzie... Well, the Oak Mountain Beach. There's a sandy beach on one of the lakes in the state park. It feels like summer, so the cool lake water feels amazing. The sun has sapped my energy. My eyes long to close, just like Kenzie's. But I need to finish this newsletter.

I spent the last couple days chatting with the entertainment director of Sherwood Celtic Festival outside of Austin. Zane was asking me advice on some awesome Celtic bands for this year's festival. I'm honored to offer my input. But I confess, I now feel extra obligated to making sure this year's festival ROCKS! They announce some of the bands of 2015 in a week or two. I am SO jealous that I won't be able to attend. Subscribe to their mailing list to find out who's on the schedule this year. If you love indie Celtic music like I do, you don't want to miss this festival.

We are less than one week away from the due date of my second daughter. We are soooo ready to actually have our baby, rather than wait for one. I hate waiting. But Inara is not ready to come out.

Nevertheless, I am excited to celebrate the mom's with a Mother's Day special of the Irish & Celtic Music Podcast.

Thanks a million for all your support of indie Celtic music.

Slainte!
Marc Gunn, The Celtfather

PS. If you haven't completed this short, one-question survey, would you please do it for me? Thanks!
