Listen to the Irish & Celtic Music Podcast

Greetings

Back in May, I asked Patrons of the Podcast if they'd be interested in sharing their personal Celtic Top 20. A few shared their favorites but only two sent me a full list of their top 20 favorite tracks that were actually played in the podcast.

This week, I'm gonna play Annie Lorkowski's. She compiled a list of her favorite songs over the past 12 years. You'll enjoy Celtic music from Mary Knickle, Heather Dale, Navan, Black 47, the Screaming Orphans, Marc Gunn, Ockham's Razor, Merry Wives of Windsor, MacTalla Mor, Coyote Run, Ciara Considine, The Borrowed Angels, The Blarney Rebel Band, Trip McCool, Ceann, BOWI, John Byrne Band, Derek Warfield and the Young Wolftones, Jesse Ferguson.

The Podcast Awards are now open to nominations. They are running it differently this year. In fact, when you nominate the podcast, you might get a chance to vote on the winner too! The setup is a little more clunky and difficult to navigate this year. But you can nominate us right now!

This is your LAST CHANCE to get 10 CDs from my Celtic Music archive. All you have to do is support the show by buying the 2017 Sainted Song Henge Collection. You'll get the 2017 shirt, a coffee mug, and FOURTEEN CDs. This offer ends on July 31, 2017. So show your support for this podcast and Celtic music by buying this fun collection.

Finally, the Corpus Christi Irish Session facebook page emailed me and asked about a show highlighting the music of Irish sessions. They tell me they have a BUNCH of music available. But wouldn't it be amazing if a several Irish sessions sent in music. I could share information about Your session with my listeners while providing an hour-long show of session music. Would you like to help me make this a reality? Email me at celticpodcast@gmail.com

Thank you once again for your generous support of Celtic music. Slainte!
