We are just two weeks away from my Celtic Invasion of Brittany. I'm a bit flustered trying to get everything done before I leave. But I finished this week's show. I also have one guest host lined up for the podcast. While I'm in France, you will get music picked and hosted by Steve Behrens of 67music.net and the Celtic Music Journal. It should be a great show.
Last Friday, I held my live YouTube Q&A. It was poorly attended on YouTube. But since it was also a last minute move from YouTube to Facebook, I'm not totally surprised. The great thing was at the very end of the broadcast, I was able to stream music live. So the next time this happens, you're gonna get a YouTube-exclusive BONUS show with music from my iTunes library. Make sure you are subscribed to the Podcast YouTube Channel so you don't miss anything.
This week's show features some of the music I played last Friday. You'll hear music from The Rogues, Alizbar & Ann' Sannat, Navan, Brendan Monaghan, Rambling Sailors, Poitin, The Duplets, Free Range String Band, David Curley & Mick Broderick, The Gothard Sisters, Larkin, Barleyjuice, Athenrye, Dust Rhinos, Robert Doyle. Read the Shownotes.
I have one last exciting announcement. Next week, I will release the 2017 Irish & Celtic Music Podcast T-Shirt. I hope you will consider supporting the show by getting one for you or a friend. It was beautifully designed by James McDaniel II. You'll see the design below.
One final question. Could you please send me a list of 3 of your favorite Celtic road trip songs with Song Name and Band Name? I I think we need a Celtic Road Trip episode of the podcast
Thank you as always for supporting the Irish & Celtic Music Podcast. Slainte!
